Mill will produce about 175 gallons of raw juice per hour. EJ starting on a new day of cooking. To cook 600 to 700 gallons of juice takes about 7 hours and produces about 100 gallons of syrup. Our new processing facility being built for the 2002 season. The gentle rolling West Tennessee farms are perfect for growing sorghum. Secretary Johanns visited Jays school to present awards to Sunny Hill Elementary, Haywood Elementary and East Elementary schools for outstanding performance in complying with President Bush's guidelines for healther school nutrition programs. Of the four schools in the nation awarded the honor, three are in Haywood County, TN.
New mill in place behind the processing barn. The juice will flow into the stainless steel tank by the mill. It will then be pumped up to the holding tanks in the background to be held until needed at the cooking tray.
