The chocolate chocolate chunk raspberry bars recipe is a nice and thick chocolate bar loaded with chocolate chunks, and topped with raspberries and nuts! yummy for the tummy!
Ingredients1/3 cup granulated sugar2 tablespoons salted butter2 tablespoons water1 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chunks1 egg1 teaspoon vanilla extract2/3 cup all-purpose flour1/4 teaspoon baking powder1/4 teaspoon salt1/3 cup seedless raspberry preserves1 /2 cup finely chopped walnuts

Step 1: Heat oven to 350 degrees F.Step 2: Lightly grease an 8-inch baking pan; set aside.Step 3: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.Step 4: In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture boils.Step 5: Remove form heat; immediately add 1 cup of chocolate chunks, stirring until melted.Step 6: Stir in the egg and vanilla extract.Step 7: Add flour mixture to chocolate mixture, beating until blended.Step 8: Stir in remaining 3/4 cup chocolate chunks.Step 9: Place in freezer for 10 minutes.Step 10: Stir preserves to soften; spread over top of chilled batter.Step 11: Sprinkle chopped walnuts over top.Step 12: Bake for 35-40 minutes or until bars begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
Makes 16 bars.
